Performance is a human “must-do”
The idea of performance is built in from an early age, whether it transfers to stage, music, sports, business or nothing discernible; it’s still there. Parents have their children repeat new phrases for family and friends, even introverts show off skills and abilities. In those early days we just did, without consideration to what others thought of us. But at some point we became more aware of the opinions of others and the concepts of success and failure, embarrassment and shame, and the associated risks to personality, character and identity.

Mind on Stage, is founded on understanding of the unique challenges faced by high-level performers. I’ve seen firsthand how performance anxiety can hinder even the most talented individuals. That’s why I’ve developed a range of innovative courses that combine the power of hypnotherapy, CBT, and ACT to help you gently address your anxieties and achieve your full potential.
My approach

My courses are as educational as they are therapeutic because there is so much misunderstanding about anxiety in the performance context. My core principles are about putting you in command of every aspect of your performance, body and mind. You will come to understand the function of anxiety and the way the human body and brain process it, so you will be better placed to address your negative experiences from an informed perspective. I want you to find the freedom to get beyond the constant need to manage your anxiety and just be free from it’s grip. I want your performances to showcase you not your anxiety.
